It has the advantage of being sited within the King Street Studio Workshop / Nidderdale Museum complex. The artists and craftspeople at King Street Studio Workshops operate with an open studio / workshop ethos.

number 6 studio gallery is equipped as a working studio and can accommodate up to 9-10 people for courses and 16-25 people for meetings or demonstrations.
It is well heated and has good natural light with excellent additional top lighting. The moveable tables encourage different teaching environments. Pin boards are available for students, if they wish to review their work.
