Book Making Year 4
April 13 - 9:30 am - 4:00 pm
This course is designed for students who have already completed Years 1 to 3 of Joan Newall’s courses, or who have significant experience from other similar courses. The course is designed to allow students to develop their own practice using the skills learned in previous courses. As before there will be opportunities for group discussions and personal tutorials.
Having covered most book forms you will now move on to more complex structures and begin to use your own style of working.
The course will be run as a workshop from 9.30am – 4pm. You will receive tuition and demonstration from the tutor in the morning session and then spend the afternoon on your own work. During the course there will be group discussion as well as individual presentation of work. You will be expected to produce a visual diary and a finished piece for exhibition at the end of the year.
