It is designed to encompass a wide range of creative skills and interest different levels of learning; encouraging newcomers to the subject, supporting those who are looking to brush-up their skills and challenging those with more experience.
The primary aim of the course is to provide an enjoyable learning experience. Each session is a mixture of exploration, guidance and tuition to build a skill set, using tools and media in a variety of ways. The teaching is student led, learning is planned individually, based on personal preferences. Students are free to work on their own ideas, following their own interests, use a session plan or any combination. The course intention is to support each individual response, encouraging exploration and experimentation and developing ideas.
At the start of the session the tutor spends time with each individual, one at a time, until everyone has been seen and then continues to teach with this approach throughout the session.
The course runs over 8 sessions and the cost is £75.00 for those who are not in work and £80 for those in work.
